Porcelain Story
I really like the children's theme in porcelain. It is practically inexhaustible. As well as the topic of a dog, which we have already had to talk about more than once in our section. But truly irresistible are the compositions in which both of these popular themes are intertwined thanks to the author's idea. So much so that it is simply impossible to contain feelings of sincere tenderness and delight. However, is it worth holding back at all?
I never thought that our youngest Anechka would one day develop such a love for dogs. German Shepherds have been in our family for over twenty years. We love them and have always loved them. But, to be honest, in my opinion... neither my wife and I, nor the older boys have ever had a really close, friendly attachment to a dog - such as Anechka has to Jack.
Jack. We gave her a three-month-old puppy exactly a year ago. And during this time, their friendship grew into such mutual devotion that if anyone had told me about this before, I would never have believed it. Anya is ready to do her homework for hours on her own, then unquestioningly perform additional classes in English and German, then again sit for hours with a music teacher at the piano, then ... In general, she is ready to do anything, if only at the end of it all she was promised at least half an hour to be with here beloved Jack.
It just comes to the unimaginable - when in warm weather, tired of constant running around, she and Jack suddenly calmed down, we were not even surprised to find them ... sleeping in an embrace on the green grass warmed by the sun.
I bought the composition presented today to your attention many years ago in a small shop on the famous Rambla in Barcelona. In this shop, from the Indians who have been “holding” it all these years, I bought various works. And the owners, having found out, have already given even very large discounts. Moreover, we met with them a long time ago, by chance. Walking along the Rambla with our little Dimochka (who has now graduated from the university and went to work), we decided to change his, sorry for the details, diaper. And when the child fell asleep in our mother's arms, I noticed nearby the same shop with porcelain figurines ...
A few weeks ago we were in Barcelona again and, having decided to show Anechka the "famous" shop, where her older brother had been sleeping sweetly for a long time, we decided to go with our daughter to the store that was memorable for us. Surprisingly, everything remained the same in it. Only sellers have become younger. And my first acquaintances, obviously, went on a well-deserved rest. So over time, destinies, memories, amazing stories of the appearance of various works in our collection are intertwined. What remains unchanged is our love for porcelain and our passionate dream of making the collection accessible to anyone who might be interested in it.
