Porcelain Story
The porcelain factory in the Ovruch district of the Volyn province was built in 1904-1909 by the Polish businessman A.K. Przhibylsky. For many years, the company produced simple ''white'' crockery made of unpainted porcelain. During the Second World War, the Korostensky (as it eventually began to be called) Porcelain Factory named after. F. E. Dzerzhinsky was destroyed. Then it was restored.
The relative flourishing of the enterprise was outlined in the 1960s, when several creative dynasties came to the plant, and V. Tregubova, who became famous for her sculptural compositions ''Natalka Poltavka'', ''The First Subbotnik'', ''Aeneid'', became the main artist. Now the Korosten Porcelain Factory, like most similar industries in Ukraine, to our great regret, does not work. The most interesting works created by his masters were scattered in private collections. In our collection there are many beautiful original compositions of this enterprise. There are also unique vases produced in single copies for various ''anniversary'' occasions.
