Porcelain Story

Today I would like to introduce you to another composition created by the famous Spanish porcelain manufactory in collaboration with the creative studio of Jaime Hayon. I have already mentioned the name of this iconic Spanish designer and fashion designer several times. Born in Madrid and based in London for a long time, the young designer is known worldwide for his unusual designs in furniture design, men's shoes, women's jewelry and so on. Someone can reproach Aion with creative omnivorousness. And someone else may admire the fact that in any of these areas he managed to achieve very noticeable success.

The latest designs by Jaime Hayon are regularly exhibited at the Design Museum in London, at the Center Georges Pompidou in Paris, and in fashion galleries in Europe, America and Japan. A short collaboration between the creative studio of Jaime Hayon and the famous Spanish manufactory Lladro resulted in a whole series of unusual porcelain works, easily recognizable by the handwriting so characteristic of everything Hayon does - bright colors, unusual design and at the same time some kind of inner warmth of the plot idea. As, for example, in the case of this work. By the way, after our acquaintance with him, which happened many years ago in Kyiv, Jaime Hayon left warm dedications to me and my wife on many of his works presented in our collection.

For the first time, I decided to show this particular composition on the International Day of Families, which has been regularly celebrated at the initiative of the UN since May 1993. Defending the interests of each family (cells of society, as it used to be said), the UN seeks to defend the rights of members of the large family of all mankind. It would be possible to talk for a long time and in detail about the importance of family values, about the need for each of us to create families, relationships in which are built on feelings of love and respect. About many other things, known to all of us since childhood, and at the same time not accepted by many due to various circumstances, including those often depending on ourselves. But I won't. And so it's all very clear. I don't know if everyone thinks the way I do. Hardly. Yes, it doesn't matter. In this case, I am absolutely sure of my position - a society built not on family values, but on anything else, is doomed to destruction. This is an axiom, confirmed by the centuries-old experience of mankind.
