I really love this fantastically powerful work. Causing, in addition to spiritual awe and delight, also an irresistible desire to pray and thank. Thank not for something specific and momentary, which, of course, requires specific and momentary gratitude. But simply for everything. And it will always be right.

The history of the appearance of this work in our collection is connected with one very memorable situation that happened in our lives many years ago. By the way, these memories were inspired by a recent conversation with friends who are going to go to Thailand for the New Year. More specifically, Phuket. With a mandatory check-in for several days in the capital of the country Bangkok for excursions to ancient temples, royal palaces and museums.

We drove with the children exactly the same route about seven years ago. And we visited temples, and monkey reserves, and rubber plantations. And on the journey on elephants, we managed to check in, where, as I once said, they taught the young driver to sing the Ukrainian song “Oh, tee, Galya, young Galya...” with us, I want to note, that our trip to Thailand took place only on the second attempt. Because the first one failed. Or not so - so, fortunately, unsuccessful that we thank fate for this until now.

It was at the end of December. In a few days we were to fly to Thailand. All tickets have been purchased and hotel rooms reserved. It only remained to go to church on Sunday morning - before a long trip... And suddenly in the church, right during the service, our mother Galya became ill. Yes, it was so bad that I had to urgently rush to the clinic, having previously called the surgeons back. Their verdict was unequivocal - to immediately perform an operation to remove the appendicitis. But what about the trip, tickets, hotels?! What are you talking about?! Or an operation - or maybe trouble... They did an operation. Which, as it turned out, saved us from all troubles at once. For literally the next day after this (that is, on the first day of our planned trip) stay in Phuket, everything got destroyed by tsunami hit from the ocean coast of Thailand!.. By the way, we later published the memoirs of one of the founders of the medical clinic, who found himself with his family at the epicenter of the tragedy and only miraculously survived, grabbing the top of a tall palm tree, where a giant wave carried him, dragging many tourists, cars and even large heart-rending elephants into the ocean...

Literally two weeks later, I saw this amazing porcelain work on one of the sites, which I decided to bring to your attention today. Of course, I couldn't refuse it. And I didn't even try. Never forget to thank fate and the Lord. For absolutely everything.
