This unusually beautiful and equally rare composition is often referred to by collectors as "little Cinderella". And even despite its rather impressive size! It's just that compared to the "big Cinderella", which is literally twice as big, this work really looks a little more modest. In some catalogs it is called "When the clock struck 12". And finding it is much more difficult than "The Arrival of Cinderella" (this is the name of the second, truly huge composition). We have both pieces in our collection. Now let me introduce you to this. In the composition, replete with many colors, as well as the finest details of the design of the main characters, you can see how Cinderella tries at the last second to jump on the running board of the carriage, which has already begun to turn into a pumpkin.

I won this lot at one of the English Internet auctions about four years ago. And, as had happened more than once before, the owner of the work refused to send it to Ukraine. Said that if I want to pick it up, I should come and pick it up in person. And again, as has happened more than once before, we succeeded. We were going to go to college with our son, who was then studying in Brighton, in the south of Great Britain. So we decided to combine business with pleasure.

In one of the small towns, 70 kilometers from London, we hardly found the tiny house of the hostess of our "Cinderella". Having handed her a box of Ukrainian sweets, we, under the supervision of a ginger cat, remained in the tiny kitchen to wait for the already paid work. Our daughter Anechka could not imagine how and where the owners manage to keep "Cinderella" in such cramped conditions. She suggested that, like in a fairy tale, she lives in the attic. Finally, having given us a huge box of work, the hostess and the cat breathed a sigh of relief - they had a free place to live.

And we went back to London to carefully wrap each finger of porcelain heroes with special material purchased at the local post office for another three hours. Galya and Anechka were turned around, and the general management of the process, in every possible way interfering with them with their tips, was carried out by your obedient servant. But when, upon arrival in Kyiv, we opened the suitcase with "Cinderella" at home, which passed the test of the luggage compartment of the aircraft, to an indescribable joy, we found the composition in perfect value and safety. And so it pleases our eyes so far.
