Porcelain Story

In my "porcelain stories" I have already mentioned our good friend from Manchester by the name of Stuart. Over the past twenty years, he traveled with Dynamo Kyiv and with journalists accompanying the team on foreign trips to all football cities in Europe. And not just once. How many interesting excursions organized for us by Stuart over the years of joint travel, how many memorable evenings on the eve of matches with long intimate conversations about everything in the world! .. But one day our old Stuart opened up to us from such an unexpected side that, remembering this, every time I see him in that unforgettable image.

Before the trip to Liverpool, we, of course, heard about Stewart's passion for the Liverpool Four, but we could not even imagine what passion could do to a person. Stewart knew about John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Star everything that was and will ever be written about them. He showed us Liverpool as the city of his celestials - born here, but here they studied, and over there they played their first concert ...

In the old cemetery at the church of St. Peter, over one of the graves, our merry Stuart sang a famous song from the early repertoire of The Beatles, ignoring the tears rolling down his cheeks. It turns out that the view of one of the authors of this song snatched from the mournful local landscape a view of this particular cemetery corner, which served as an impetus for the creation of a musical work.

Stewart spoke at length about how John Lennon and Paul McCartney were the first to become friends, trying to put together a new group around themselves. Then the early death (almost at the same time) of their mothers brought John and Paul even closer...

Stewart enthusiastically shared his memories of the Beatles' conquest of America in 1964 and the tragic death of John Lennon in America in 1980. My middle son Andrei, who came on this tour from Manchester, listened to Stuart with his mouth open, although he knew a lot about the Legendary Four before. Even at the site of Lennon's death near his home in New York, next to Central Park, we had recently visited the whole family ...

Many countries celebrate the World Day of The Beatles, the most popular musical group in the history of mankind, which during its heyday was blasphemously declared to have become more popular than Jesus. The Beatles set every conceivable and unthinkable record in the world of music, which, probably, no one else will be able to beat. Their works (in various media) have been sold and continue to be sold in circulations exceeding several billion copies. But all this pales before the main thing - before their songs, which can be listened to forever. And never get enough of them regardless...

By the way, I bought the porcelain composition presented to your attention in memory of the "Liverpool Four" immediately after returning from Liverpool. Unfortunately, I have not come across a porcelain work dedicated to the work of "The Beatles". Yet.
