You know, dreams do come true. If you believe in them with conviction and consistently go towards them. For the first time in my life, my wife and I saw the beauty of Spanish porcelain (and porcelain in general) on the island of Mallorca. Then we understood everything. It happens differently for everyone and at different ages. To us, this happened in the Balearic Islands, the most famous of which is Mallorca.

Moreover, the figurine of a girl with a bunch of flowers in her hands, bought there and which laid the foundation for our collection, as we now understand, did not differ in any way from other products that we saw then in a small shop on the seafront. I just really liked it. And what does one of the most beautiful works of Lladro, presented today in the section for birthdays, have to do with it, you ask. And here's what.

The figurine of King Jaime of Aragon the First Conqueror (or - Conquistador) was my first porcelain dream. And this dream was born in ... Kyiv, where I first saw this figurine and passionately dreamed of getting it. And what do you think - after many years I found it and got it. And now, introducing her, I can even greet each of you with this beauty. So, having already become the owner of this amazing work, on an excursion in Valencia, I heard the legend of Jaime the Conquistador - and the conqueror of the Valencian state, and the winner of the Arab troops near Aragon, and the leader of the crusaders who defeated the troops of the Saracens and Arabs in the battles for the Balearic Islands - Menorca and Mallorca!
