Porcelain Story

I adore lovers. Not ostentatious, loudly attracting attention with insincere confessions and decorative affectation. But real lovers, as if sparkling with this bright feeling, carefully blowing dust particles from their unexpected (or, conversely, long-awaited) happiness. This is immediately noticeable - in the eyes, constantly admiring the object of their desire, in the gestures, so warningly soft ... Only the spring sun warmed the earth that had departed from the protracted winter - and lovers, like snowdrops, here and there began to break through the gray and dull backdrop of everyday problems. They are like rays, forcing each of us among ordinary everyday life to suddenly remember that after all, we all went through this. And many are still going through. And someone else has to go through ... And the soul becomes a little warmer. And a little happier. Because these feelings have no age. Because these feelings, even someone else's, involuntarily noticed by you, you want to rejoice no less than your own, personal.

This beautiful, in my opinion, forever in love with porcelain, composition was created by the famous Spanish sculptor Antonio Ballester. It, by the way, is not typical for him. Because Ballester is better known to many collectors as the author of several limited editions of birds created in Gres. In our collection, these amazing birds - as if alive, large, sometimes almost life-size - are widely represented. In general, I consider these works perfect to the smallest detail.

And suddenly now we see the "porcelain ornithologist" Ballester in such an unexpected creative incarnation of an artist who glorifies the feeling of falling in love.
