Porcelain Story

Believe me, it was not so easy to collect one after another porcelain compositions dedicated to the work of the great English poet and playwright William Shakespeare: King Henry VIII, Hamlet, and after them the author himself ... When my wife and I were in the town of Stratford - upon Avon (Warwickshire), where Shakespeare was destined to be born, and then, after many years of work in London theaters, return to his small homeland and die, for some reason we remember the size of the bed that became the deathbed for the famous playwright. This bed was incredibly small. I remember thinking then: it is by no means the height of a person that determines the size (and greatness) of his talents and achievements.

By the way, in the local church of St. Trinity, where the ashes of Shakespeare rested forever, a color portrait of the great countryman is kept. It must be admitted that the similarity of the hero of porcelain work with this portrait is simply incredible ...
