PORCELAIN STORY
As you have obviously already noticed, the beauty presented to your attention can not be called a figurine. And yet. I must say that in many porcelain museums (though there are not many of them at all) the basis of the exposition is not figurines, figurines or plot compositions, but plates, vases, teapots, table sets and other tableware.
Figurines and compositions predominate in our collection. After all, this is a museum of porcelain figures. Although, of course, we could not do without incredibly beautiful vases, plates and teapots. Well, isn't this work of an ancient Austrian manufactory a miracle...? By the way, after visiting the porcelain museum in Vienna's Augarten Park, my children and I went to the famous Belvedere Palace, and after seeing it, tired, we decided to take a ride in an ancient carriage driven by four horses. What was our surprise when, not having passed a hundred meters, we suddenly heard: "Well, of course, ordinary people walk here on foot, and Shvets and his family travel in carriages!...". The people who said this turned out to be not ordinary people at all, but Ilya Noyabrev and Valery Chigliaev, handsome men whom I had respected for a long time and sincerely. We remembered our visit to Vienna also by this unexpected meeting.
And presented to your attention a wonderful Viennese plate I found, by the way, not in Vienna, and in ...Kiev. At the antique market.
