Porcelain Story
Several weeks have passed since the wonderful celebration arranged in the center of Kiev by Dasha Egorova and her partners from the world-famous Lladro porcelain manufactory, and many of those who were lucky enough to be there are still impressed by what they saw and heard. And, of course, I am no exception.
Even having visited many different festivals in Spain and having witnessed the amazing national holidays of this sunny, beautiful and very close in spirit country to Ukrainians, I can’t say that before I was able to see so closely and feel so strongly the incredible performance of flamenco. A dance in which Spanish, Gypsy, Jewish and Arabic motifs are surprisingly intertwined. And this is not only about the actual dance, although it is he who creates the most vivid picture of the performance. An incendiary, rhythmic, sensual dance necessarily accompanies the piercingly soulful performance of the song, which complements this colorful performance with a special excitement of someone else's experiences that resonate so harmoniously in the hearts of the listeners.
By the way, in several photo reports and professionally made videos that appeared on Facebook shortly after the flamenco festival in the center of our capital and aroused unusually great interest among users, one way or another it was possible to pay attention to one porcelain work specially presented there, against which many of the guests tried to take a photo for memory.
This work is now before you. I really liked it before. But now, after what I saw and felt during the performance of fantastically talented flamenco performers who specially came to Kiev from Valencia, I perceive this work in a completely different way. With a great understanding of the nuances of the dance, so clearly conveyed by the author of the composition. In our collection there is another similar work - large, thin, elegant, emotional. Only it is a different color. And sometime later I will introduce it to you. In the meantime, I propose to enjoy the contemplation of this rare beauty and very large porcelain figure.
